It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorris Ragsdale (Tennessee, Illinois), born in Hurst, Illinois, who passed away on March 25, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Bantel (Biggs) and Ernest Bantel; her husband Gilbert Ragsdale; her siblings, Morris Bantel, George, Robert, Ray Bantel, Fay Williams and Helen Jenkins; her parents-in-law, Corum and Maude Ragsdale; and her siblings-in-law, Warren Ragsdale (Bernice) and Iris Lipe (Charles).
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Ragsdale Blakely; her son-in-law Robert M. Blakely IV; and her grandchildren, Svetlana Grace Blakely of Maryville, Tennessee. and Lucas Vitaly Blakely of Maryville, Tennessee.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
