William L. Boyd Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William L. Boyd of Taylorville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie N. Boyd and Frances "Babe" M. Boyd (Stahulak); his brothers, Richard and James Boyd; and his mother-in-law Elaine Molen.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Boyd of Taylorville, IL; his children, Leslie Klocek of Taylorville, IL, Jo Anna Griffiths of Taylorville, IL, Michael Boyd (Julie) of Indiana, Michelle DeClerck of Springfield, IL and Mandy Owens (Chris) of Bloomington, IL; his grandchildren, Zach, Samantha, Ryan, Noah, Dustin, Sasha, Jourdan, Riley, Raimey and Reagan; his sister-in-law Joy Boyd; and his nephew Richard Boyd. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shafer-Perfetti & Assalley Funeral Home (202 W Franklin St, Taylorville, IL 62568).
