Virginia Lee Wendling Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Lee Wendling of Taylorville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav M. Herter and Doris L. Herter (Moffett); her husband Kenneth D. Wendling; and her great grandchild Elliot Beard. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Wendling (Angela) of Taylorville, IL and Karen Ladage of Taylorville, IL; and her grandchildren, Hayle Friesland (Tomra), Rachel Getz (Max), Andrew Wendling, Kenny Wendling and Ali Ladage (Bryan Beard). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1010 N Webster St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylorville or to the Drivet Syndrome Foundation.
