She was predeceased by: her parents, Cassie Casey and Cecil Casey; her son James Shaw; and her siblings, Verla Romagnoli (Hugo), Viron Casey (Marguerite), Vernon Casey (Josifa) and Lowen Casey (Louise).
She is survived by: her spouse Alex Shaw; her son Richard Shaw; her daughter-in-law Shirley Shaw of Taylorville; her grandchildren, Dana Doucette (Scott) of San Gabriel, CA, Brian Shaw (Lily) of Sierra Madre, CA, Brett Shaw of Sierra Madre, CA, Joli Hohenstein (Clint) of Forsyth, IL and Gina Williams (Mike) of Olathe, KS; her great grandchildren, Bryce, Cole Williams, Seeley, Tucker Hohenstein and Kellie Doucette; and her great great grandchild Julian Doucette Reyes. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 116 E. Franklin St., or to Christian County YMCA, 900 McAdam Dr., both in Taylorville.
