He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard G. Hershey and Charlotte Hershey (Rueger); his wife Marsha; his children, Richard (Connie) of Owaneco, IL and Hillary of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Gabrielle of Portland, OR, Chad Barlow of Florence, SC and Alix Barlow (Dominic Fallin) of Taylorville, IL; his sister Carol Periard (Ron) of Springfield, IL; his nephews, Mark Periard (Barbara) of Grand Rapids, MI and Geoff Periard of Naples, FL; his stepdaughter Stacie France (Scott Bloom) of Bloomington, IL; and his stepgrandson Charles Rada of Bloomington, IL. He was also cherished by many great grandchildren, great nephews, and a great niece.
