With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Umberger of Taylorville, Illinois, born in Owaneco, Illinois, who passed away on January 23, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Umberger and Marjorie Umberger (Buckles); her stepmother Lolita Umberger; her children, Kevin Ransdell and Laura Churchill; and her siblings, Robert Umberger (Dorothy) and Dorothy Ellinger (Billy).
She is survived by: her children, Debra Ransdell of Nokomis, Lisa Bland of Tovey and James Finuf of Indianapolis; and her siblings, Jeannie Smith of Idaho, Wilma Mauney of Tennessee, Mickey Umberger (Karen) of Metropolis, Rene Pickett (Mike) of Springfield, Jackie Billings (Ralph) of Springfield and Dennis Umberger (Tina) of Nokomis. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
