She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Peters and Geraldine Peters (Fuller); her husband Donald "Nick" Fassero; her grandson Ryan Fassero; her stepfather Frank Sockel; and her brother Steve Sockel.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Staake of Taylorville and Mike Fassero (Ronda) of Taylorville; her grandchildren, Darrick Fleming (Bonnie) of Taylorville, Mindy Hill (David) of Taylorville, Colene German (Justin) of Nokomis and Allyson Diebold (Todd) of Rochester; her great grandchildren, Mazie, Lane Fleming, Payton Hill, Ryan, Emmy German, Eva, C. J. Hennings, Maddy and Amelie Diebold; and her siblings, Gary Sockel (Janet) of Omaha, NE, Mark Stockel of Taylorville and Nancy Meester (Duane) of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
