He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Henson and Harriett Ratliff Henson; his daughter Barbie Henson; and his siblings, Joan Fletcher, Phyllis Shoemaker and Kenny Henson.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Long; his children, Tina Hill (Ronald) of Fillmore and Bob Henson (Spring) of Taylorville; his grandchildren, Caitlin Baker (Tyler) of Nokomis, Natalie Eaton (Ronnie) of Nokomis, Matthew Hill of Fillmore and Milana Henson of Taylorville; his stepgrandsons, Isaac Selby (Melodie Paluska) of Taylorville and Caleb Selby of Taylorville; his great grandchildren, Gabe, Hadley, Isaiah, Anna, Calvin and Emma; and his brothers, Jim Henson of Redding, Gene Henson (Phyllis) of Winchester, John Henson Mulberry (Donna), Roger Henson of Carrollton and Ronnie Henson of Waverly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
