We bid farewell to Richard Moats of Taylorville, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 23, 2024 at the age of 87. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Moats and Ruth Moats (Oliver). He is survived by: his wife Mary V. Wuebbles; his children, Angie Moats of Taylorville, Jim Moats (Jenny) of Taylorville and Nicki Lane (Aaron) of Taylorville; his grandchildren, Matthew Adams (Monica), Abby Moats, Jordan Moats, Faith Moats, Mia Lane and Bree Lane; his great grandchildren, Maddox Adams and Malcolm Adams; and his siblings, Bonnie Hastings, Eileen McKenzie, Evelyn Ruble, Shirley Sheppard, Elmer Moats and Gene Moats. He is also survived by wife, siblings and treasured friends.
