He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Griffin (Molly) and Leslie Black; his brother Jim Black; and his niece Leslie Jo Black. He is survived by: his former spouse Suzi Denning of Taylorville; his sons, Jeffrey Black of St. Louis, MO and Christopher Black (Theresa) of Peoria, IL; his grandchildren, Sam, Hayden Black and Shane Black; and his siblings, Don Black of Taylorville and Carol Stepping (Joe) of Stonington, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
