It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Carnahan of Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Paul may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Carnahan and Marie Carnahan (Jacobs); his daughter Katie; and his brother John. He is survived by: his close friend Kay Babbs of Taylorville, IL; and his children, Angela Downing, Christopher Carnahan, Amanda Carnahan, Michael Carnahan (Darcy), Brenda Johnson (Johnie Coy), Nonda O'dell, Donnie Johnson and Peggy Johnson.
