It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia R. Erkman of Taylorville, Illinois, born in Cairo, Illinois, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manoah Ernest and Ollie Hilden Wiley (Samuels); her sister Martha Gidcumb; and her half-siblings, Dorothy Curtis, Harry, Jack and James Lawrence.

She is survived by: her daughter Debra L. Wells (Don) of Taylorville; her grandchildren, Heather M. Giannino (Anthony) of Trophy Club and Zachary R. Wells (Stephanie Dye) of Taylorville; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Addison Giannino, Henry Wells, Amie and Cash Dye.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patricia's memory are suggested to: Christian County Animal Control, 300 S. Baughman Rd, Taylorville, IL 62568, or the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Patricia R.
