She was predeceased by: her parents, James Humphrey and Barbara Humphrey (Corzine); and her brothers-in-law, Dave Peabody and Mike Peabody. She is survived by: her husband Deane Peabody; her son Drew Peabody (Lisa); her grandchildren, Parker of Taylorville and Cameron Peabody of Taylorville; and her siblings, Peggy Peabody of North Aurora, James Humphrey (Darcy) of Taylorville and Helen Nothdurft (Steve) of Downers Grove. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services (302 W Poplar St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Christian County YMCA or the Taylorville Food Pantry.
