With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary E. Porter of Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on April 5, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Turner and Selma Turner (Macintosh); her husband Claude Porter; her children, Debbie Cepaitis and Jim Smith; and her granddaughter Amanda Vance.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Reagan of Madisonville, TN and Tammie Sutton of Taylorville, IL; her grandchildren, Nicki Harris (Chasper), Rachel Reagan (Zack Phillips), Ashley Karney (Mike), Scott Cepaitis, Tisa Eschenbaugh, Nancy Cepaitis (Jason), Jamie Wright, Jason Wright (Amanda) and Nathan Smith; and her sister Jean Steele. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
