It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Burge of Taylorville, Illinois, born in Britt, Iowa, who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Elmer and Alma Maud Prior (Elder); her husband Nelson Burge; her son Dale Burge; and her grandson Chad A. Burge.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Hemingway (Willie) of Taylorville, IL, Donna Cole (Scott) of Birmingham, AL and John Burge of Decherd, TN; her grandchild Thirteen; and her sister Laverta Tewell of Taylorville, IL. She is also survived by Thirteen Great-Grandchildren; Three Great-Great-Grandchildren.
