We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2022, at the age of 67, Mark Alan Dawson of Taylorville, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mark Alan Dawson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Benton and Edna Irene Dawson (Brown). He is survived by: his son Michael James Dawson of Alton; his brother David Dwain Dawson (Lynn) of Taylorville; and his nieces, Amy Jo Yuzenas (Dennis) of Wellington, FL and Sarah Jane Dickenson (James) of Palmdale, CA. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Taylorville School District Music Department.
