She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph H. Hofener and Irene A. Hofener (Dickinson); her daughter Valerie Holmes; and her siblings, Helen Fischmann, Rev. Robert Hofener and Norma Jean Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Knope (Peter) of Taylorville; her grandchildren, Michelle Morell (Brett), BriAnne Hoffman (T. J.), Marjorie Knope, Rich Holmes, Peter Knope and George Holmes; her great grandchildren, Lillian Van Winsen, Irelynn Holmes, Isabella Holmes and Harper Hoffman; and her brother Harold Hofener of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
