He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry "Curtis" Heberling and Alberta E. Heberling (Elliott); his wife Betty A. Colonius; and his siblings, Jordan, Edward Heberling, Nellie Eastley and Grace Greffe.
He is survived by: his sons, Lawrence Heberling of Taylorville, IL and David (Julie Heberling) of Taylorville, IL; his grandchildren, Nancy Colbrook (Matt) of Taylorville, IL., Shannon Martin (Eric) of Rochester, IL., Justin Heberling (Heather) of Taylorville, IL., Marissa Heberling (Chris Calloway), Michelle Rexroad (Shawn) of Taylorville, IL. and Travis Heberling (Emily) of Chicago; and his sister Anna Lou Yoho of Springfield, IL.. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
