He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Nolan and Elta G. Nolan (Buesinger); his daughter Mary "Beth" Nolan; his great grandchild Lia Bertolino; and his siblings, Donald Nolan and Patty Beyers.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Nolan of Taylorville; his sons, Joseph Nolan (Teresa) of Taylorville, John Nolan (Laurie) of Carlinville and Lawrence Michael "Mike" Nolan of Taylorville; and his stepchildren, Theresa Stade of Divernon and Butch Fulk (Sally Prasun) of Edinburg. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
