It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Keith Kerwin of Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Keith may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shirlee Kerwin; his parents, Leo Kerwin and Harriett Kerwin (Dunbar); and his brothers, William (Carol) of Morrisonville and Donald of Nokomis.
He is survived by: his sister Martha Kerwin of Taylorville; and his children, Jeff (Maria) of Springfield, Joseph (Lori) of Rochester, John of Edinburg and Janet Morell (Paul) of Pawnee. He is also survived by four grandsons, five granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McClure Funeral Home (302 W Poplar St, Taylorville, IL 62568).
