We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Katie Parks (Taylorville, Illinois), born in Nauvoo, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Isaiah and Alice Lavonia Hopson (Davis); her spouse Robert Allen Parks; her son Thomas Michael Parks; her granddaughter Charley Miles; and her great grandchildren, Derrick and Logan Seiler.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Parks Jr. (Margaret) of Suffield, Connecticut, Mable Burchett (Robert) of Chatham, IL, Judy Seiler of Taylorville, IL, Mary Ann Miles (Ron Livingston) of Taylorville, IL and Barbara Cave (Tom) of Buchanan, TN; and her great great grandchild Several. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The First Church of the Nazarene 300 S. Shumway St. Taylorville, IL 62568.
