She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Orr and Myrtle Orr; her husband Thomas Duane Harvell; and her siblings, Harry, Larry, Robert Orr, Mary Durbin, JoAnn Harper and Shirley Orr.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Thomas Harvell (Kristy) and Lori Lynn Herman (Jetta); her grandchildren, Cheryl Casad, Mallory Herman (Scott), Shelby Herman and Samantha Leach (Brian); her great grandchildren, Christian, Domanic, Kynslee, Layklynn, Leach, Zayden McDowell, Nolyn and Kasyn Westbrook; her siblings, Donna LeFever, Pam Jacobs, Ron Orr (Betty), Roger Orr (Retha) and Richard Orr; and her sister-in-law Janet Orr. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sutton Memorial (327 N Clay St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in Karen's honor may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
