Julio Monge Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julio Monge of Taylorville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Julio Monge to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Monge and Catherine Monge (Bellino); and his siblings, Ron, Elizabeth, Lillian, John, Margaret and Donald.
He is survived by: his children, David Monge (Patty) of Illiopolis, Robert Monge of Taylorville and Karen Hendricks of Taylorville; his granddaughter Amy Nation (Tyler) of Taylorville; and his great grandchildren, Avery Nation and Alyvia Hinds. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (116 W Adams St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or the Christian County Senior Center.
