She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Shaefer and Eileen Shaefer (Ostermeier); and her sister Donna Schultz (Dennis). She is survived by: her husband Bradley Braner of Taylorville; her children, Michelle M. Bittner (David) of Grayslake, Jacqueline Marie Frahm (Stan) of Salem and Kenneth Jon Murphy (Becky) of Taylorville; her stepson Richard Braner (Shanna) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Nicole Bittner, Kyle Bittner, Breanna Bittner, Denver Frahm, Logan Frahm and Kelsi Murphy; her stepgrandchildren, Jacob Braner, Jalee Braner, Jaydon Braner, Dallas Braner, Rylee Braner and John Wesley Braner II; her great grandchildren, Lily, Daisy, Nova, Paislee and Everly; her brother Marvin J. Schaefer (Darlene) of Libertyville; and her pet Pepper. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian County Animal Control.
