With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnn Stone of Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on February 7, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry G. Tonks and Creta Tonks (Oddy); her grandparents, George and Mollie Oddy; her son Paul Mann; and her brother Harry James Tonks.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Ted Fleming of Taylorville, IL; her grandchildren, Holly Layton (Keith) of Taylorville, IL, Theodore Fleming Jr. of Taylorville, IL, Shane Mann (Jamie) of Virginia Beach, VA, Carmen Mann of Chatham, IL and Virginia Coontz of Oklahoma; her great grandchildren, Madisyn Mann, Caleb Mann, Cason Mann, Austin Mann, Alliyah Mann, Alyssa Mann, Alexia Jones, Jaeda Mercer, Isabel Layton, Jillian Layton, Greyson Layton, Lilly Fleming, Teddy Fleming and Remi Fleming; and her daughter-in-law Donna Mann of Oklahoma.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Taylorville Evangelical Free Church (319 S Washington St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Taylorville Evangelical Free Church.
