With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnn M. Salefske of Taylorville, Illinois, born in Wanamingo, Minnesota, who passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Vold and Marian Vold (Gunderson); her husband Calvin E. Salefske; her great grandchild Ayla Jean McKinney; and her siblings, Diane Murphy, Christine Sholing, Melvin, Charles and Joel Vold.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Hendricks (Mark) of Taylorville and Karyn Brown of Wilmington, OH; her grandchildren, Matthew McKinney (Amanda West) of Palmer, Jeffery Brown (Melissa Luermann) of Newark, OH, Kristin Hoffman of Wilmington, OH and David Thomas of Wilmington, OH; her great grandchildren, Case, Aliyah, Aspen, Adalyn, Cora, Mya and Josie; and her sisters, Karen Johnson of Red Wing, MN and Sonja Landon (Mike) of Cannon Falls, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
