She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Smith and Ola Kathleen "Kitty" Smith (Kerney); her husband John A. Cascio; her son Alan Lawler; and her sister Pam Nave.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Lawler-Cowan (Jo Cascio) of Mt. Vernon and Mitchel Cascio of Pittsburg; her stepchildren, Mike Cascio of Mansfield, Scott Cascio of Pennsylvania, Laura Orcutt of Champaign and Lisa Montiliel of New York; her grandchildren, Deanna Isaiah and Kyle Lewis; her foster son Roger Huette; and her sisters, Helen Daley of Michigan and Dorothy Speagle of Taylorville.
