She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lawrence Ellinger and Etta Freese; her husband Bob McCormick; her daughter Michelle Diane Traughber; and her siblings, Norma Allison, Lawrence Ellinger, Robert Ellinger and Donald Ellinger.

She is survived by: her sister Peggy Fabicheski (Lester). She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
