He is survived by: his wife Rita Hancock of Taylorville; his children, James David Hancock (Sonja) of Taylorville, Jannis Turvey (Hal) of Taylorville, Douglas Hancock (Trisha) of Taylorville, Joni Hancock of Taylorville, Jill Mahan (Richard) of Taylorville and Daniel Hancock (Shelly) of Washington, IL; his grandchildren, Robert Hancock (Amanda), Jeffrey Hancock (Bailey), Chad Hancock (Amy), Rachel Forrest (TJ), Hannah Ross (Shane), Nathaniel Turvey, Chelse Broux (Michael), Sydney Walker (Tyler) and William Hancock; his great grandchildren, Xavier, Quinn, Laila, Jace, Shane Jr., Gabriella, Thomas, Riya, Oliver, Ruby, Scarlet, Deklan and Sloane; and his sisters, Mary Ferguson and Sue Snyder (Dennis).
