He is survived by: his wife Mary Etta Smith (Sharp) of Taylorville; his children, Rachel Johnson, Jill McMillin of St. Louis and Mike Nation (Susan) of Taylorville; his grandchildren, Jessica McLaughlin (Jeff), Lindsey Amos (Cody), Zachary Smith, Garrett Smith, Andrew Johnson (Jackie), Alex Johnson, Tyler Nation (Amy) and Sara Nation; his great grandchildren, Addalynn Rose Voss and Avery Nation; and his siblings, Vickie McMichael (Larry) and Jim Smith (Jennifer) of Roxana.
