With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Haley Shoot of Taylorville, Illinois, born in Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on April 8, 2021 at the age of 19. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandfather Chris Shoot; her great-grandparents, Delpha, Pete Phelps and Dolores Dague; her uncle Josh Woods; and her aunts, Tamera Jo Obanion, Wilma Cunningham and Maggie White.
She is survived by: her parents, Wade Obanion of Oakland, IL and Ashley Woods of Springfield, IL; her siblings, Christopher Shoot of Taylorville, IL, Jacob Hughes of Kincaid, IL and Jennifer McKinney (Jacob Noren); her grandparents, Patty Phelps, Paul Dague, Robert Obanion, Jack Tucker and Archie Dague; her stepsisters, Heather McKinney, Kayla Parker (Kurt) and Step; her brothers, Preston Newingham, Quenton Newingham and Trenton Newingham; her aunts and uncles, Jason Stubbs of Springfield, Jason Anders of Springfield, IL, Jim Phelps (Margie) of Charleston, IL, Andrea Woods of Charleston, IL, Michelle Bryant (Kris) of Phoenix, AZ and Marie Seafler of Kansas, IL; and her close friends, Jade Thomas, Neil Hughes of Kincaid, IL and David Shoot of Kansas, IL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
