He was predeceased by: his parents, William I. Nation and Cora Helen Nation (Ashinhurst); his former wife Mary Ann Jacobs; his sons, Tom and Donald; and his siblings, Evert, Ira, Earl, Jack, Iven, Ernie, Robert, Jim, Kenneth, Uldien White and Florien Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Vangeison; his brother Roscoe Nation; his sisters-in-law, Juanita Nation, Lorrie Nation and Judy Jacobs; his grandchildren, Timothy, Stephen, Kyle and Trevor of Washington State; and his stepgrandchild Kim Norman of Washington State.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sutton Memorial (327 N Clay St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
