With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraldine McKinney of Taylorville, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on July 22, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Heil and Louise Heil; her husband Wayne L. McKinney; and her brothers, Wallace Heil and Chuck Heil.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne McKinney of Springfield, IL and Karen McKinney of Taylorville, IL; her grandchildren, Mark Anderson (Jodi) of Waverly, IL and Heather Digiovanna of Springfield, IL; and her great grandchildren, Rachel, Brandon Dempsey, McKenna Anderson, Noah Anderson, Blayton Anderson, Callie Anderson and Remmi Anderson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
