George R. Jamison Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George R. Jamison (Taylorville, Illinois), who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Calvin and Editha Marie Jamison (Rhoads); his grandmother Anna Rhoads; his aunt Georgia Morris (Rhoads); his significant other Helen Lorraine Kauerauf; his sons, George Frank (Mary Lou Goodpaster) of Libby and David Mark Jamison (Joyce) of Taylorville; his siblings, Harriet Ann, Jenny Loraine Davidson, James Calvin and John Edward; his grandchildren, George, Daniel Wesley (Susan), Cameron, Caden of Woodbury, Minnesota, Matthew Cameron (Cristina), Catherine, Claire of Orlando, Florida, Ann Elyse Jamison (Phil O'Neill), Desmond of Madison, Wisconsin., Dave, Nicholas David (Jane), Lillian and Megan Claire of Taylorville; and also, Frank and Clella Kauerauf (Huffman). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Given the pandemic restrictions, a private family service will be conducted with internment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville to follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in George's memory to the First Presbyterian Church of Taylorville.
