She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Vaughn and Eva Gertrude Dills (Franks); her husband Don Freeman; her son Donald Edward Freeman; and her siblings, Buddy Dills and Belva Jean Dills of Jewel Vaughn.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Ray Freeman (Brigid) of Portland, David Lee Freeman Sr. (Gina) of Taylorville, Michael Louis Freeman of Bryson City and Floyd Vaughn Freeman of Bryson City; her grandchildren, Alicia Donelle, David Lee Freeman Jr., Tyler Donald Freeman, Brendon Thomas Freeman, Skyler Ann Beck, Michael Louis Freeman II, Felisadey Freeman and Tucker Freeman; and her siblings, Betty Gertrude Lackey (Monroe) of Bryson City and Henry Dills (Debbi) of Commerce, Georgia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
