He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Clinton and Faye Arminta Peters (Hardin); his siblings, Darrell, Roy, Jerry Peters, Phoebe Schwemin and Hope Peters; and his great grandchild Kinsley Peters.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Peters of Taylorville; his son Matthew Peters of Taylorville; his grandchildren, Austin Peters (Miranda) of Taylorville, Evan Peters of Taylorville and Ryan Peters (Delanie) of Taylorville; his great grandchildren, Colbie of Taylorville, Allison of Taylorville and Collins Peters of Taylorville; and his sister Sonja Heldebrandt of Nokomis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
