Eric Cunitz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eric Cunitz of Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on August 25, 2024 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cunitz and Doris Ann Cunitz (Lukach); his sister Lisa Cunitz; and his close friends, Thomas Stockdale and Jason Carr.

He is survived by: his daughter Erica Cunitz (Justin Witty) of Bulpitt, IL; his grandchildren, Brookelynn Cunitz, Anaiah Witty, Justin Witty Jr. Baylee Cunitz and Liam Witty; his stepsons, Thomas and Andrew Foster; his brothers, Scott Cunitz (Christine) of Florida and George Cunitz II of Indiana; his aunt Donna Dance of Taylorville; and his nephews, Rich Cunitz (Brittany) and Randy Cunitz.

Memorials may be made to Sutton Memorial Home to assist the family with expenses.
