She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Younker and Martha Younker (Pollard); her former husband John P. Everlen, Sr.; her husband Loren Matthews; her son John P. Everlen, Jr.; her son-in-law Gerald Gross; and her stepgrandson Anthony Turney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cyndi Montgomery (Scott) and Karen Middleton (Terry) of Taylorville; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Cheri and Brandon (Lynn). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
