He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Curtis and Alberta Estella "Bertie" Heberling (Elliott); his wife Mary Elizabeth Hill; his grandson Gabriel Alan Heberling; his great grandchild Jessica Kettlekamp; and his siblings, Nellie Vitali and Jordan Heberling.
He is survived by: his sons, Edwin Eugene "Gene" Heberling (Carol), Robert Dale "Rob" Heberling (Kathy) of Taylorville and Marion Lee "Punk" Heberling (Jodi) of Owaneco; his grandchildren, Holly Lomprez of Taylorville, Christopher Heberling (Amy) of Waynesville, Andy Heberling (Narcie Rogers) of Palmer, Wendy Snow (Shannon) of Lima, Jennifer Heberling (Billie) of Taylorville, Eddie Heberling (Laura) of Longden, Beth Piatt (Jeremy) of Taylorville, Robert Edward "Ward" Heberling (Carla Tan) of Las Vegas, Mathew Heberling of Owaneco and Amy Heberling of Bellevue, Nebraska; and his siblings, Anna Lou Yoho of Springfield, Grace Greffe of Taylorville and Leroy Heberling of Taylorville. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
