She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Briggs and Hope Briggs (Holbrook); her husband Alfred Porter; her children, Scott Porter and Gail Simmons; and her grandchildren, Craig and Michelle.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Porter (Venesse), Alan Porter and Brian Porter; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Bingham (Rick), Nichole Porter, Annie Crawford, Andrew Porter (Jennifer), Katie Porter, Tim Simmons, Joshua Simmons and Kristina Simmons. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as countless friends.
