He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Ganey and Patricia Ganey; and his sister Kathleen Ganey (Judy Teague). He is survived by: his siblings, Tim Ganey (Tish), Bill Ganey (Barbara), Michelle Maurer (Tim), Barbara Ganey Schaad (Larry Kupferschmid) and Mary Ann Creech (Ed). He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews, dear cousins, many friends, and coworkers.
