He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn W. Samson and Lena M. Samson (Luttrell); and his brothers, Forrest and Ronnie Samson. He is survived by: his daughter Lesley M. Samson of Wiggins, MS; his close friend Kellie Underwood of Hewittville; and his siblings, Bobby Samson of Taylorville, Charles Samson (Tillie) of Auburn, Darrell Samson of Virden and Martha LaVoie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
