He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Garren and Mary Irene Garren (Stark); his granddaughter Breanna Hogge; and his brothers, Ricky Garren and Norman Garren.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Garren of Taylorville; his sons, Duane Garren of Taylorville, Seth Garren (Emilie) of Taylorville and Nick Garren (Shanda) of Denver, Colorado; his granddaughters, Jessica Hogge, Olivia Garren and Ava Garren; his great grandchild Anna Hogge; and his siblings, Jeanie Pruett of Summerville and Randy Garren (Pat) of Taylorville.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital in St. Louis.
