It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Turek of Taylorville, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ross and Helen Ross (Walton); her brother Ronnie Dee Hoy; and her daughter Jennifer Lynne Schafer. She is survived by: her husband Chris Turek; her children, Christopher George Beiderwieden and Sarah Louise Rogers (Craig) of North Carolina; her grandchild Tristan Daniel Rogers; and her sister Faye Halford of Langleyville, IL.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was an advocate of animal rescues and if you would like to make a donation in her name to APL of Sangamon County in Springfield, IL.
