He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Edgar and Emily Jane Poor (Kemp); his son Kenneth Edward Poor; and his sister Mary Bernadette Poor. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Poor of Taylorville; his daughters, Cheryl Noller (Kevin) of Raymond and Carol Tomlin (Troy) of Auburn; and his grandchildren, Holly Noller, Bethany Kmety (Matt), Megan Tomlin and Hayden Tomlin.
