He was predeceased by: his father Millard Eugene Cox; his grandparents, Malcolm and Louise Pierson; and his brother Michael Eugene Cox. He is survived by: his mother Neoma Ann Cox (Pierson); his former wife Betty Ellinger (Cox); his wife Karen Cox of Taylorville, IL; his children, John Cox (Cassie) and Madison Cox of Taylorville, IL; his stepchildren, Justin Hall (Danielle), Kellie Wingo and Jerica Hall of Taylorville, IL; his grandchildren, Berkley, Mason, Aiden, Grady, Asher, Emylie, Easton and Connor; and his siblings, David Cox (Brenda) and Kimberly Evans.
