She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Franklin and Zola May Barding (Bland); and her siblings, Paul, Leroy, Kenneth, Margrette and Doris.

She is survived by: her husband Richard; her children, Jolynne Richardson (David) of Taylorville, Jeannine Rude (John) of Illiopolis, Richard E. Johnson of Greenwood, SC and Louis Johnson (Tracie) of Taylorville; her grandchildren, Megan Nauman, Amanda Richardson, Mallory Gordon, Rikki Johnson, Hope, Luc, Lea Johnson, Sarah Pritts and Molly Rude; and her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Zoey, Layla, Kolton, Maverick, Charlotte, Camden, Marissa and Cassidy.

Memorials may be made to the Taylorville First United Methodist Church or the Taylorville Food Pantry.
