Betty Jean Lucas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Lucas of Taylorville, Illinois, born in Blue Mound, Illinois, who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Harding and Carrie J. Harding (Clements); and her siblings, Evelyn Irvin, Don, Harv, John and Gerald Harding.
She is survived by: her daughter Jean Rovey (Stan) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Dr. Joshua Rovey (Erin) of Mahomet and Erika Schlechte (Zach) of Edwardsville; and her great grandchildren, Lucas Rovey, Lyla Rovey, Sydney Rovey, Nolan Rovey, Liam Schlechte, Logan Schlechte and Landon Schlechte. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
