With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty E. Yard of Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias George and Ole Eddith Leinen (King); her husband Robert E. Yard Sr.; her son Jeffrey Alan Yard; and her siblings, Alvie Leinen, Floyd Leinen, Harold Leinen and Leona Collebrusco.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert E Yard Jr. (Yvonne) of Taylorville and Daniel J. Yard of Taylorville; her grandchildren, McKenzie Crowe (Chet), Stevi Davis (Blake) and Jacob Yard (Simone); her great grandchildren, Tyler Crowe (Felicia), Mason Crowe, Cayden Crowe, Camden Davis, Lucas Davis and Finley Davis; and her nieces, Shirley Williams, Sandy Hobbs and Jeannie Pilto.

Due to the pandemic, all CDC recommendations will be followed including encouraging of use of masks.
