Bennie D. Longden Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bennie D. Longden of Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Longden and Gertrude Longden (Foraker); his son Kenneth Longden; and his brother Dallas Longden. He is survived by: his wife Betty Longden of Taylorville; his children, Michael W. Longden (Debbie Mathes) of Owaneco and Pamela K. Davis (Phil) of Arcadia, Florida; his grandchildren, Kurt Longden (Stephanie), Sabrina Longden, Krystal Baker (Jim), Zachary Longden, BreAnne True (Jeremiah), Ashley May (Aaron) and Kenneth Tyler Christer (Michelle); and his sister Margaret Reed-Danni of Springfield. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Owaneco United Methodist Church for upkeep of the building.
